I thought the whole idea behind KaiRoshi's art contest was kind of interesting, so I decided to hold one of my own to see how it works out (could be alot of fun). I'm going to start it now and let it run until March 31st, so if you know anybody who would be interested in entering, please let them know. It's always great to wanna give a little something back to the art community.

This is going to be a Damsel-In-Distress (DID)/bondage contest featuring, you guessed it, Natsumi Mizuki of Get Backers, who was recently captured by a shoe/sock thief! GASP!

A few rules here:
1) She has to be barefoot, not a huge deal if you don't go showing off both feet or her soles or something, but so long as we know she's barefoot.
2) No nudity (you can do underwear if you'd like) aside from her feet, but her clothes can be as heavy (or skimpy) as you wish. Any outfits are fine.
3) Distress can be of any sort, use your imagination. Sexually implied ones (such as crotchropes) are fine so long as it doesn't tread too far into S&M territory.
4) Captor(s) are welcome, but Natsumi must be at least partially in bondage (as in she's not completely tied yet)
5) Extra human female captives are welcome as well, except for the Hinata from Naruto (sorry fanboys and furry-lovers, I don't want them in my contest). Traps are still guys and as such are not allowed as captives (in case you were thinking).
6) Backgrounds are not necessary but encouraged, the same goes for color.
7) Gags are not completely necessary for bondage, but I do encourage them (I think gags add to the tension of a given picture).
8) Rule 6 also applies to ropes, you can use tape, straps, cuffs, etc. Anything that would make her helpless.
9) It has to be your own original work of art, not a trace or manip.
10) One entry per person.


First Place will be $150
Second Place will be $75
Third Place will be $35
Fourth Place will be $20 (if enough entries)- you can also switch this out for $20 worth of a PS3/360/Wii points card (if you live in North America and wish to do so)

After the 4 placewinners are decided, their names will be withdrawn and everyone else who DIDN'T win something will have a chance in a random raffle for an easy $10. So if you didn't place in the top 4, no worries ^^.

Payment will be sent through either paypal or moneybookers (just a .com at the end of either name to get to that site) for those that live outside the US, if you win a prize and live within the US, a mailed money order is of course, another option.


Judging will be by me and a few people I trust (will not disclose their names here) instead of what basically amounts to a popularity contest (sorry, it may or may not be that, but that's how I view public voting)
